When the Red Red Robin....

Comes bob bob bobbing along...

Okay this is a good sign!!!
A robin has been sighted in my yard!!!
Please, Ohhh Please let it be spring!

Friday is April 1st and I do so long for the sweet warmer spring breezes.
I am soooo looking forward to packing the woolens back in to the cedar closet and
breaking out the frills and floral patterns!

Yeah!! Thats what Im talking about!!!

I will share with you a shot my husband took while out on his walk.

Near us is a beautiful park with an old mill.
The ice is melting and the water is roaring!
Next the flowers should start blooming...Maybe some tulips and crocuses :O)

I have been working this week on some vintage inspired
Easter Cards. Hope to post some photos of them tomorrow.
Until then ...
wishing you all a happy & peaceful Tuesday evening

In Our Prayers!

Hello my friends.
Normally I would be all super goofy over it being Friday
but, it has been a very hard day on this beautiful planet of ours!
By now you all know about the horrid earthquake in Japan
and tsunami warnings all over the world.
My prayers are with the people in Japan and Hawaii and our west coast.
As well as ALL of the other areas being effected...
South America and Mexico.

(Sorry that this isn't the best photo of my drawing
My camera is home so I used the
Photo Booth on my Mac.)

Again, My heart and prayers go out to all the people that have been in some way touched
by this dreadful earthquake and tsunami. Peace to all.
Hugs,
Mary

Dr. Suess

Today is Dr. Suess's Birthday :O)
I do believe he would have been 100!!!

So, in honor of this well loved artist/author
I have created a watercolor painting to
go along
with one of my favorite-" Suessisms"

I like nonsense,
it wakes up the brain cells.

Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living.
It's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope, which is what I do.
And that enables you to laugh at life's realities
Dr.Suess

Here it is...
What do you think?
(Click on it to make it larger)

Have a great day all!
Hugs,
Mary
